Members agreed to survey their institutions and feeder schools to assess course transferability and identify any issues impacting student success. Findings will help determine whether updates are needed to specific descriptors or panel disciplines/specializations. The Speech Communication descriptions were noted as the most recent; they intentionally omit course-specific outcomes to monitor articulation and evaluate whether adding outcomes is necessary to align with IAI expectations. b) Outstanding / ongoing topics from previous panel meeting(s) c) Updates d) Other discussion items from panel members e) Next meeting(s): i) Spring '26 = Friday, March 20th, 2026, at 10:00 am to 2:30 pm via Zoom web conference. ii) Fall '26 = Friday, December 11th, 2026, at 10:00 am to 2:30 pm via Zoom web conference. _____________________________________ Panel Approval Ratio Panel: [Major] Media and Communication Arts Panel Semester Spring 2025 _____________________________________ Ongoing Courses = 12 New Courses = 3 Total Courses = 15 _____________________________________ Approved Ratio = 80.00% Conditional Approved Ratio = 0.00% Approved & Conditional Ratio = 80.00% Non-Approved Ratio = 20.00% Total Ratio = 100.00% _____________________________________ Special Notes: · 1 or 2 short breaks may be scheduled or added as needed during a fully virtual panel meeting. · IAI staff are happy to accommodate the scheduling and facilitation of additional virtual meetings throughout the year if needed to discuss proposed descriptors, etc. |
