A wireless guest account is used to access the "isunet-StartHere" wireless network, which is available throughout campus. Self Service - Visitors to Illinois State University can create a wireless guest account for themselves upon connecting to the "isunet-StartHere" wireless network and opening a web browser. A wireless guest account created in this way is good for the current day only. For continued access, a new wireless guest account must be requested each day. As a visitor to the University, you can create a wireless guest account for yourself. A wireless guest account created in this way is good for the current day only, but you can create a new wireless guest account each day. To create a wireless guest account for yourself, do the following: On the previous page you would click [Request an Account] Enter your first and last name, and 10-digit United States cell phone number. Click the [Terms of Use] link to review the terms of use. If you agree, put a check mark in the box. Click [Register]. You will see a web page that says, "Visitor Registration Receipt," and you will be presented with your full name, your account username (which is your cell phone number), account activation time and date, and the account expiration time. There will also be a link to the GuestNet login page. You will also receive a text message with the account information mentioned above, as well as your numerical password.
