MC 905 Argumentation: (3 Semester Credits)
Principles of reasoning, critical thinking, argumentation, and advocacy and their expression. Students will develop an understanding of how arguments function to influence attitudes, values, and behaviors in our public culture with an emphasis on the nature of argument, proofs and evidence, constructing arguments, fallacies of argument, and the use of logical and persuasive reasoning.
